Sometimes a CP or Thinker may try to download a PDF copy of a report on Axon using Google Chrome's built-in PDF viewer.
Unfortunately, this method will yield a download error due to the way that Chrome handles PDF download requests. However, there is a known and effective workaround that still allows users to successfully download PDF reports from Axon. The current workaround is:
- Click the printer icon instead of download icon
- Change Destination to “Save as PDF”
- Click Save
- Choose where to save the PDF
- Open the PDF report to ensure all data is present
The report will download as a PDF and will be viewable and printable at this point. The above instructions are for Windows based operating systems but print to PDF functionality works similarly on Mac OS as well.
