What is the Account Settings page?
The Account Settings page is where users manage their account settings, including their email and password, their personal info, their location and language, and their work info.

Account Settings and Sharing Permissions Tabs
The default tab of the Account Settings page is the Account Settings tab. Click the Sharing Permissions tab to view your sharing permissions.
Profile Photo
Initials
If you have never uploaded a profile photo, you will see a circle containing your initials.
Current Profile Photo
If you have previously uploaded a profile photo, you will see it displayed here.
Choose File Button
Click the Choose File button to select the photo you wish to upload.
Once you have chosen a file, the filename will appear next to the Choose File button.
Upload Photo Button
Once you have chosen a file, click the Upload Photo button to upload your photo.
Files must be in jpeg, png, or webp format, and they must be at least 360 x 360 pixels.
Email and Password
Email Field (Required)
The Email field contains the primary email address associated with your account. You can change this at any time.
Secondary Email Field
If you use Stop & Think, you will see the Secondary Email field, which contains the email address associated with your Stop & Think account. You can delete this email, but you cannot change it.
If, after deleting your email, you log back into Stop & Think, you will be asked to associate your Team email with your account, and it will be tied as your secondary email shown here.
Password Reset Button
Click the Password Reset button to send yourself an email with instructions for resetting your password.
Personal Info
First Name Field (Required)
Enter your first name in the First Name field. This field is required but can be changed at any time.
Last Name Field (Required)
Enter your last name in the Last Name field. This field is required but can be changed at any time.
Gender Dropdown
Select your gender from the Gender dropdown.
Current options are as follows:
- Female
- Male
- Non-binary
- Gender Not Listed
- Prefer Not to Say
Age Field
Type your age in the Age field, or use the Increment/Decrement buttons to adjust the number. The Age field requires numerical values. If you try to input non-numerical values, you will see an error.
Location and Language
Timezone Dropdown
Select your timezone in the Timezone dropdown.
City Field
Type your city in the City field.
State/Province Dropdown
Select your state or province from the State/Province dropdown.
Country Dropdown
Select your state or province from the Country dropdown.
Preferred Language Dropdown
Select your preferred language from Herrmann’s core language offerings in the Preferred Language dropdown:
- English (US)
- English (UK/International)
- German
- Spanish
- French
- Chinese Simplified
Work Info
Job Title Field
Type your job title in the Job Title field.
Org Level Dropdown
Use the Org Level dropdown to indicate your position in the hierarchy of your organization. Options include the following:
- Executive
- Director
- Mid/Senior Level Management
- Associate
- Entry Level
- Internship
Department Field
Type your department in the Department field.
Industry Dropdown
Select your industry from the Industry dropdown. Available options include the following:
- Agriculture
- Consulting
- Consumer
- Education
- Financial Services
- Government
- Healthcare
- Insurance
- Non-profit
- Pharmaceuticals
- Professional Services
- Retail
- Technology
- Telecommunications
- Tourism/Hospitality
- Transportation
- Other
Company Dropdown
Start typing your company name in the Company dropdown.
If you see your company’s name, select it.
If you do not see your company’s name, finish tying the name and select “Create {your company’s name}.”
Communication Preferences
Marketing Email Opt-in Checkbox
Check the Marketing Email Opt-in checkbox if you’d like to receive email from Herrmann about new products and services. You can opt out at any time.
Update Settings Button
Click the Update Settings button to save any changes you have made to your settings.
How does the Account Settings page work?
The information on the Account Settings page is initially gathered when you take your HBDI assessment, and it can be edited at any time afterward.
Who is the Account Settings page for?
The Account Settings page is for all users of the Herrmann platform.
